My student is a freshman and does not have an intended major or a career plan. What can Career Services do to help her gain some direction?

Your student should call our office to setup a "Choosing a Major" appointment. During that, our counselors can sit down with her to find out more about her goals and provide her with career assessment tools to survey her interests, skills, values, personality and leisure interests. From there we will develop an action plan of next steps for your student to do some further research and exploring in the upcoming semester. So have her call our office at 508-531-1328 to setup that appointment as soon as possible and we will get her started.

My daughter is a super senior. Should she contact career services before she graduates to help search for any job openings?

YES! Your daughter should contact our office NOW to get started on the job hunt! Please encourage her to not wait until graduation as this will prolong her job search well into the fall. She can contact our office at 508-531-1328 and setup a Senior Recruiting Appointment to get her started.

If anyone is interested in Applied Behavioral Analysis, we are looking for a babysitter to accompany our BCBA while our son is in therapy. This is an opportunity to learn from a professional while being paid. Please see the ad at http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/dmg/2359705226.html.
